Unfortunately those members who voted to fish Badin on 6/11/11 did not show for the tournament and only two members fished, and they did not want to be there in the 90+ heat. However, congratulation to Jack Vanderford who won with 7 lbs and Dave Harless was second with 4 lbs 7 oz and they tied for big fish and split third place money.
Because of the poor turn out at Badin and some of the tournaments we thought it only fair to remind everyone of the bylaws everyone agreed to regarding tournaments and the paybacks due in December.
-Club dues will be $15 per month ($10 dues, $5 fish off)
for 12 months.
-Members dues must be current (paid) for the month in which the
tournament falls.
-No member is eligible to receive any payout at the end of year if they owe any
money.
-Members who plan to be late for a tournament must give prior notification to
one of the club officers.
Attached are two reminders of the club standings. Review and if there is a question contact Jim Mullen at 704-239-8139.

Congratulations to Kevin Burrage for his first place finish with 9 lbs-1 oz, to Jack Vanderford for second place finish with 15 lbs-11 oz and the big fish of 2 lbs-13 oz, to Tom File for third place with 6 lbs 3 oz, and to Dave Harless for fourth place with 3 lbs-15 oz. at our May 14th tournament.
Our next tournament is June 11th, 6am – 2pm, on Badin.. The blast off site has changed to Alcoa in Badin (was Circle Dr). The tournament schedule is posted on the web site.

Congratulations to Jeff Roe for his first place finish with 17 lbs-7 oz and the big fish of 4 lbs-12 oz, to Tom File for second place finish with 15 lbs-11 oz, to Dave Harless for third place with 6 lbs, and to David Grathwohl for fourth place with 5 lbs-12 oz. at our April 9th tournament. I think everyone was underdressed because of the chilly and windy weather.
Our next tournament is May 14th , 6am – 2pm, out of River Road on Tuckertown.. The tournament schedule is posted on the web site.

The club caught over 70 pounds, topped by Tom Files 5 fish the weighed 28 lbs 15 oz. Tom also had big fish that weighed 7 lbs 10 oz. Jack Vanderford finished 2nd with 5 fish that weighed 11 lbs 5 oz., and Kevin Burrage finished 3rd with 4 fish that weighed 9 lbs 15 oz.
We had 8 members fishing and 3 guest under our new format.
